اللهُ تعالى مدَح الذين يحافظُون على صلواتِهم، فالصّلواتُ الخَمس هي التي تُطَهّر الإنسانَ إن أدّاها كما أمرَ اللهُ وقد قال رسول الله صلَّى الله عليه وسلم: “*مَن تَوضّأ كما أُمِر وصلَّى كما أُمِر غَفَر اللهُ لهُ ما تَقَدَّمَ مِن ذِنبَه*” رواه ابن حبّان
Allah praised those who keep praying correctly on time. The Five Obligatory Prayers are the ones which purify the Muslim when he/she performs them according to what Allah has ordered.
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: the one who makes wudoo’ as he/she has been ordered and prays as he/she has been ordered Allah forgives his/her past sins (ie, minor sins). Ibn Hibban.
معناهُ الذي يتَوضّأ وضُوأً مُستَوفِيًا لشُروطِ الوُضُوء وأركانِه ولم يُسرف في الماء أي لا يَصُبُّ على أعضائه منَ الماء قَدرًا زائدًا على العَادة إلى حدٍّ فاحِش إذا استَعمل مقدارَ نِصف تنكَة هذا إسراف هذا مَا لهُ ثوابٌ في وضوئه كذلك لو استعملَ رُبع تنَكة.
It means the one who makes wudoo’ while fulfilling the conditions and integrals of wudoo’ without using excessive water, ie, he/she does not pour water over his/her organs an amount that exceeds the normal amount to a point that it is considered extreme like using 2.3 gallons (8.7 liters) which is considered excessive, which renders the person having no reward for his/her wudoo’. Similarly, this is the case when one uses for wudoo’ half of this amount (~ 1 gallon or 4.5 quarts about 4.3 liters).
