From the route of Abu ^Amr and it was said Abu ^Amrah Sufian bin ^Abdillah ath- Thaqafi, may Allah accept his deeds, who said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, tell me a concise and enriching statement about Islam that would guide me and I would not have to inquire about it from any one else besides you. He saidﷺ : << Say I believe in Allah and adhere to the doings of the upright ones.>> Narrated by Muslim.
عَنْ أَبِي عَمْروٍ وَقِيلَ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الثّقَفيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قُلْت يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قُلْ لِي فِي الإِسْلاَمِ قَولاً لا أَسْأَلُ عَنْهُ أَحَدًا غَيْرَكَ. قَالَ ﷺ : ((قُلْ ءامَنْتُ بِاَللَّهِ ثُمَّ اسْتَقِمْ )). رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.
