التحذير من حب الدنيا و نسيان الموت
The great scholar *Imam Ahmad Ar-Rifaa^iyy* said:
*Some people have the characteristic of loving this world and forgetting about death.*
*And it is astonishing of the one who knows he will die, how he forgets about death*
*It is astonishing of the one who knows he will depart this life, how he pursues this world and spends so much time loving it*
*They waste time with playing and forgetting about death*
*They spend their days in negligence and sinning*
*Their joking is that of one who feels safe from regret*
*And they waste time like the one who has not heard of the Day of Judgement*
*As if they do not look at the graves and do not reflect on their occupants*
