Muslims wishing well to Muslims for the coming of Ramadan.
From Abu ahHurayrah said: the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said wishing well to his Companions: Here you are in Ramadan a blessed month. Allah made it incumbent upon you to fast it. Paradise’s doors are opened, Hell’s doors are closed and the devils are put in chains. It has a night better than one thousand months whoever is deprived of its goodness then one is really deprived. (Imam Ahmad in Mushad). Some scholars said: this hadith is the essential reference for people wishing well for others for the coming of Ramadan. (Ibn Rajab in Lat’iful Ma’aarif)
هذه تهنئة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لأصحابه بقدوم رمضان، وأنا أهنئكم بها، عن أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه قَالَ : لَمَّا حَضَرَ رَمَضَانُ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُبَشِّرُ أَصْحَابَهُ :
( أَتَاكُمْ رَمَضَانُ، شَهْرٌ مُبَارَكٌ، فَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ صِيَامَهُ، تُفْتَحُ فِيهِ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ، وَتُغْلَقُ فِيهِ أَبْوَابُ الْجَحِيمِ، وَتُغَلُّ فِيهِ مَرَدَةُ الشَّيَاطِينِ، لِلَّهِ فِيهِ لَيْلَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ، مَنْ حُرِمَ خَيْرَهَا فَقَدْ حُرِمَ ) . أخرجه النسائي وأحمد وغيرهما…
