The proof that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلَّم benefits in his life and after his death by Allah’s Will

The proof that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلَّم benefits in his life and after his death by Allah’s Will

Hafidh alBazzaar and hafidh alBayhaqiyy narrated that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلَّم said: the Prophets are alive in their graves and are praying.

This hadith confirms that the Prophet’s souls go back to their bodies and they have life in their graves different from the life of others

Prophets do the prayers out of enjoyment and not out of being accountable to do them unlike the prayers one performs before death.

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلَّم also said: my life is good for you and my life after death is good for you. When I am alive you do things and Allah reveals to me about that and after death your deeds are shown to me and the good I found you had done I thank Allah for that and what I found other than that I ask forgiveness for you. AlBazzaar.

The hadith proves that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلَّم benefits in his life and after his death.

What Allah reveals to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلَّم in his life includes the ruling about the deeds whether permissible or unlawful.

The showing of the nation’s deeds to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلَّم emphasizes the continuity of the Prophet’s life in his grave.

The Prophet’s asking for forgiveness in his grave proves that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلَّم benefits after his death according to Allah’s Will. This is the rebuke of the sayings of those who denies atTawassul who state that the person does not benefit after death even if one was a Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلَّم or a waliyy.

It is established according to the Hadith narrated by Muslim that the Prophet صلى لله عليه وسلَّم in the night of Ascension when the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم told Prophet Musa about the 50 prayers obligation Prophet Musa replied: ask your Lord easiness. This was continued after each time the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلَّم went to the place where he received Allah’s order until Allah reduced the number to 5 with the reward of 50 prayers.

Undoubtedly, this doing of Prophet Musa صلى الله عليه وسلَّم was a great benefit to Prophet’s Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلَّم nation after Prophet Musa had died.
